Who are we?

We are Jill and Mark Tanner, a couple living in upstate New York with our 2 teenage daughters, 4 dogs and 1 cat (who thinks he owns our house!).

Why did we start this site?

We started this site because we wanted to make a difference to the lives of other dog owners and their pets.

There are a large number of dog training programs out there that claim to show you how to train your dog and solve any and all of its behavioral issues, but how is an individual dog owner supposed to know whether or not a particular program is worth the money?

So we decided to spend our own money to purchase all these programs and then review each of them.

Note that we are not compensated in any way by any of these companies – so what you see on this site is an unvarnished and unbiased review of the good, the bad and the ugly of each of the programs.
